Miss Ruby Valentine, "The Alabaster Beauty", embodies the spirit and essences of classic
striptease. Since 2003 she has been a mainstay on the New York burlesque scene. Ruby has also recieved the title of "The Nunchucks Stripper" for her one Nunchucks Striptease, in which she spins nunchucks and strips down to her nunchuck pasties! The act is titled "Enter Alabaster Dynamite" (inspired by the film "Black Dynamite" and one of her hero's Bruce Lee)
Ruby Valentine has performed with the top Burlesque stars at premier exhibitions and venues, including The Mis Exotic World Reuion, The New York Burlesque Festival, Starshine Burlesque, Le Scandal, The Slipper Room, Revealed, Pinchbottom Burlesque, and various weddings, parties and other private events. In May of 2008 Ruby performed with Le Scandal Cabaret at The Brighton Fringe Festival in England.
Miss Valentine has appeared in various local, national and international publications including, BUST magazine, Bizarre mag, Time Out Magazine, V magazine, The Argus, The Village Voice, the New York Press and more. She has also worked extensively with artists and photographers in both fine art and pin-up setting. In 2006 Ruby landed a role in the TV series "Mad Men" which premiered on AMC. She played a 1960's burlesque bombshell.
Miss Valentine mesmerizes her audiences with her classic striptease routines.Her hobbies include baking her famous cupcakes, drinking Old Crow, Horror movies, throwing lavish parties, and day dreaming.
She resides in Manhattan
